This month we have a New Moon happening on the 17th of April. This Moon will be in the sign of Aries. A new beginning. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is all about being first. If you want to motivate an Aries child make it a contest to see who can do it first, whether it is finishing their vegetables or taking out the trash.

The sign of The Ram is impatient and we want to not only be first but get there quickly. Watch out that you are not doing a rush job on something just because you want it finished. We struggle a bit more for patience and perseverance with Aries. But that is more than offset with the increase in optimism and excitement. It is amazing how excited we get about almost anything when Aries energy is ruling the day. We think of a project we want to undertake and whoosh. In just minutes we have made phone calls and gotten information and are raring to go.

Our enthusiasm is contagious and others want to be doing whatever it is that we are doing. This is a great energy for sales of any kind. Aries is a physical sign and so now is the time to tackle any physical projects you have been putting off. Maybe working in the yard or cleaning out the garage? We want to be doing and so we are more than ready to take action.

Aries does not sit around and mope. They are out and about meeting people and getting things done. Don't look for this to be a restful Moon, other signs are better at that. Aries will give you a nice dose of courage and forcefulness.

If you are already pretty outspoken, you might need to watch what you are saying, as the wrong thing can come flying out of your mouth before you know what happened.

But if you are shy or hesitant, then Aries can give you a nice dose of courage that has you taking a chance and achieving your dreams.

Remember that the New Moon energy will begin up to three days beforehand and a couple of days afterwards. Aries will give you some nice opportunities but it is up to you to decide how to use them.
