Aries
The sign of the Ram seems to be in the mist of financial decisions right now. The Sun is in your money sector, and will stay there until May 20th. It has joined Jupiter, already visiting. Do you have enough money to do what you want? This is the question you keep asking yourself. There is Full Moon on May 5th that is going to bring this issue into sharp focus. Watch your pennies. With Mercury also stopping by to visit from May 8th through May 24th you are going to be tempted to spend impulsively or quickly. Resist the urge. There can also be some sort of electric or electronic purchase that is calling to you. New iPod, ipad or even a new computer. Resist, resist, resist. With Mars lending support to all these planets you could be thinking about investing some money in your career. Upgrading equipment and that sort of thing. If it is for business then go ahead. And I guess its okay to spend big on improving your health and fitness. If you want to purchase a gym membership or treadmill then go ahead. This is a time you will be looking at how to improve yourself.
Taurus
Enjoy the last full month with Jupiter in your own sweet sign of the Bull. Next month Jupiter will move into Gemini and for many of you, things will quiet down. You have been discouraged and tired with Mercury hiding out in your area of self-undoing. But on May 8th all that changes as Mercury comes out to play and snuggles up next to your Sun. You may have been discouraged about some health issue. This can be a personal health issue about your own body, but it can also be a health issue of someone you love. Many Bulls have moved into the role of caregiver with Saturn in your sixth house. But now it’s time to pay attention to your own needs. You are feeling better and looking at the situation much more realistically. The period between May 8th and May 24th can be especially productive. You are full of new ideas and ready to talk and communicate about all that you have been holding inside. I love the fact that Pluto, Mars and Mercury are all working together to create a Grand Trine. This can bring you a new level of self-confidence and fun. Go on vacation and have a playful romance. Take time for yourself because you deserve it.
Gemini
Gemini is still basking in the glow of Venus’s long visit in your own sweet sign of the Twins. Venus has us loving everyone and of course everyone loves us. If you are looking for romance then this month screams romance out loud. The first two weeks of May this romantic voice is loud and clear. If you are single then watch out because you may not be by the time this transit is over. If you are married then you want to be alone with your spouse. You want to whisper sweet nothings in their ear and create sweet and tender moments that the two of you will remember. The first fifteen days of May your instincts will be toward generosity. You are ready to buy your beloved a very expensive present or present them with some kind of gift that brings stars into their eyes. But is can be a bit selfish as well. You want to feel good and look good. Don’t be surprised to find yourself drawn to new clothes and jewelry. Venus tends to pull out the credit cards and count the cost later. Don’t you be one of them. If you are alone or lonely then you will want to buy yourself a little happy
Cancer
Cancer has been dealing with a few different challenges in the last several months. With Saturn sitting at the bottom of your chart, responsibilities at home have felt heavy indeed. With Saturn retrograde some of them may be easing up a bit or you could have finally found the right solution. But instead of feeling free you are somewhat morose. Venus is staying in your twelfth house of self-undoing and you could be feeling somewhat self-destructive. Cancer is always emotional but never more so than now, with both the Sun and Mercury sliding into Gemini by the last week in May. The sign of the Crab can be all over the place in terms of what you are feeling. Up one day and down the next. Talk to someone and get out of the house to make sure you do something physical and keep things balanced. This emotional confusion will not last long but it can be uncomfortable in the meantime. Don’t be afraid to lean on friends. You can receive some special help from them right now with three planets all transiting your area of friendship. Make time for the people you love .
Leo
Leo is one busy Lion this May. Things are hopping on the work front and you are busy trying to be in not one, but several places at the same time. Everyone wants a piece of charismatic Leo! The Sun shines brightly at the top of your chart in career focused Taurus. It joins up with joyful Jupiter and the work blessings start to flow. You are offered wonderful opportunities seemingly out of the blue. Your biggest problem may be what new ventures you want to say yes to. My advice – say Yes to as many of them as possible. This energy dynamic will not last and you want to take advantage of every possible prospect to further your professional standing. As if the Sun and Jupiter together is not enough, Mercury moves into place as well on May 8th and you are on the phone and going to meetings and juggling meetings. You will have enough energy for everything thanks to Mars connecting with both Mercury and Pluto. This lovely Grand Trine operates in your chart most of May. It will bring you extra money or the ability to make extra money. Don’t just think about now, plan for the long haul. This Trine can keep paying off for a very long time.
Virgo
Virgo is finally able to enjoy Mars being in your sign for such a lengthy period of time. It is moving in direct motion and you are ready to go. Take advantage of the first two weeks of the month. Venus sits at the pinnacle of your chart and is ready to bring you rewards in your career. Maybe you ace the interview or you find you have the resources to finally retire. Whatever it is, it is making you a very happy person. Ask for the Moon because you may just get it. But pay attention to May 15th when Venus turns retrograde and stays that way for the rest of the month. Things will slow down and your bright smile may not be enough to land the account. But you are still going to be in demand. Your area of publicity and marketing is getting some heavy action. Mercury moves in on the 8th and joins both the Sun and Jupiter already there. It’s time to stand up and be noticed. Your mind is very active so attend a seminar and learn something new. If you work in education at all, then you get a double bonus as this energy will provide public kudos.
Libra
Libra is getting a nice bonus from the Universe with Venus staying in Gemini until August of this year. You are going to feel particularly charming the first two week of May when this planet is still direct. On the 15th Venus turns retrograde and you may downgrade yourself from stunning to simply attractive. You can have anyone you want right now and isn’t that nice? Venus not only brings you the person you want, it will bring you whatever else it is you want as well. Travel – you got it as this planet of love arranges things so you get to go out of town. There could be a vacation attraction that puts a sparkle in your eye. There is nothing Libra loves as much as LOVE. You are affectionate to the one you love and you get along with everyone. Not too shabby huh? But all is not roses in your love life. The first eight days of May Mercury is sitting there in your area of committed relationships and struggling against the influence of mean old Saturn. It feels as if your sweetheart keeps throwing cold water on all your lovely dreams. Whatever it is you want to do, they point out all the difficulties associated with that course of action. And the worst part is, they are right. But after the 8th things open up and you are ready to go.
Scorpio
Scorpio may be known as one of the most sexual signs of the zodiac but it’s not known as one of the most romantic. That changes this month with all the activity in your area of love and marriage. Single Scorpios are getting out of the house and attending social functions. You meet someone new without even trying. Both Jupiter and the Sun begin May in your area of love and Mercury joins them from the 8th until the 124th. The period between May 8th and May 20th will be filled with people and social activities. You want to be with your partner. You are capable of making the grand romantic gesture that melts their heart. Even if you couldn’t care less about romance you still make time for friends and decide to pick up the check for everyone. Venus in your eighth house of income received is making you feel a little like Cher on a spending spree. You think the money will never stop, but you need to be careful because Venus retrogrades on the 15th and money will slow down .
Sagittarius
Sagittarius is having a very difficult time trying to hold their tongue in company meetings. You are fed up with management in general and probably your boss in particular. You have ideas. You want to get things done. You are looking at the future. And no one is listening to you. Frustrating beyond belief. But hold on before you let loose on some unsuspecting secretary. This month Mars, Mercury and Pluto all come together just to help your life. Isn’t that sweet? With Mars at the top calling to Pluto in your money house and both joining with Mercury moving into a work area on May 8th, you are poised to get a raise, receive a bonus or land a big account. Something that would translate into big bucks. You are more than willing to work as hard as needed to get the job done. After the 8th when Mercury is in Taurus people start to listen to you and take you seriously. With the Sun and Jupiter also there and willing to help you will be noticed and rewarded. The period between May 8th and May 20th will be the most productive. Make the most of it.
Capricorn
Capricorn feels the Solar Eclipse occurring this month on May 20th more than most other signs. It is happening in your area of health and well-being. The sign of the Goat is focusing on the body and their health and it’s about time too. Venus is all about how we look and although Capricorn is not a particularly vain sign you could be thinking about a little nip/tuck to keep a youthful appearance. Be careful here however. Venus is direct the first two weeks of May but turns retrograde on the 15th. I would avoid any kind of surgery that is about appearance after the 15th. On the 20th the Sun comes to visit, followed by Mercury on the 24th. If there have been any nagging health problems you have been ignoring, ignore no more. You are ready to take care of business. Get the name of the best doctor in town and make an appointment. This is about diet and exercise so invest in a personal trainer and see the pounds fall away. Better yet, join a gym with a friend and the two of you encourage each other. You seem to be spending more time with friends this month and enjoy being with them .
Aquarius
Aquarius has had Jupiter bringing up family issues all year long and things are finally going to finish up next month when Jupiter moves into Gemini. For some of you this has meant a new home. For other Aquarians it has meant adding to the family with a new addition. It seems as if things come to a head this month. Make sure all the changes have been taken care of because if there is anything you haven’t taken care of, those details are going to come back to haunt you right now. But I don’t mean that this is a bad month, far from it. Family comes together and it is a good time for a family reunion or relatives coming to visit. You feel pushed to put forward your ideas and opinions and family members may not be receptive. Bid your time because after May 24th they will change their mind. I love the fact you get to have Venus in your house of pleasurable activities. The first two weeks of May you want to play. Maybe take up a new sport or invite friends over for a party in your new home. Take time to enjoy yourself.
Pisces
Family becomes much more important right now as the new month of May begins. Venus in your area of home and family says this is not a bad thing. Relatives are getting along, but it seems as if they all need you and sweet Pisces is getting a bit tired. The first two weeks can be especially busy with some kind of family reunion or other social event you are planning. You could decide you need some new clothes or new furniture before the big day. But if there are family members who do not get along, then you luck out as everyone listens to you and you get your own way without anyone getting angry at you. Venus is retrograde the second half of the month and spending on your home slows down thank goodness. Mercury ties in with both Mars and Pluto and it looks like you are moving around and on the go. Perhaps it is you who flies out to see the grandchildren or plays host to your college group reunion. You and your spouse are communicating better and that gives you a big boost of confidence and security. The two of you are working out the power dynamic and that can take a little time. Make sure you are both on the same page about money matters.

FULL MOON on MAY 5th 2012 – 16° SCORPIO I just love Scorpio Moons. There they are all deep, dark and mysterious. Scorpio calls out to the hidden parts of our psyche. We all have a public face and a private face. When the Moon is in Scorpio we are more interested in what is below the surface. We dig for answers. If you are in therapy, then this can be a very productive period as the influence of this Moon will last up to three days beforehand and three days afterward. There is great power here and we may end up in some sort of power struggle with someone. We are just not willing to compromise. So be careful of any stubborn streak you have as it will most certainly be activated. One of Scorpio’s main qualities is its sexual intensity. Your libido can suddenly jump up and demand notice. Sexual mistakes happen because you are in the mist of desire and not rational thought. But if you are in a committed long-term relationship this can be a lot of fun, as you rekindle desire and passion. This is not a casual light-hearted Moon but it is one of coming to know ourselves better. We are not interested in the superficial so if we meet someone new it can become intense very quickly. Under Scorpio’s rays we seek out the wounded parts of a person, be they friend, lover or family. Yes, wounds come to the surface but it is to be helped and healed. This ultimately is a beautiful healing Moon.
NEW MOON MAY 20th 2012 – 0° GEMINI New Moons and Gemini go together perfectly! Gemini loves to explore what is new and interesting. Because Gemini loves to be on the go, you could find yourself in the car a lot as you drive all over town looking for the right gift for someone or even driving the kids back and forth between band practice and soccer. Take the time to talk to them as Gemini loves to talk. Add on extra minutes to the cell phone because here is where your bill will go up. It is all talk, talk, for the next few days. Gemini loves gadgets so beware of impulse buying of the next new craze. You might be super tempted to buy new computer equipment. This sign rules communication and information and a computer does both. It’s okay to buy as long as it is not on impulse. If you have been thinking about making a purchase for some time and have done your homework, then by all means make the purchase. Talk up a storm and share new ideas. Pitch the new idea to your boss and see what happens. You will be amazed at all the new ideas that just sort of pop into your head when you are busy doing something else.
