Aries

Aries begins February with Neptune making a permanent move into Pisces. Neptune will stay here for the next fourteen years, but you begin dealing with its effects right now. Not only that, but the Sun as well as Mercury also reside here the second half of February. The sign of the Ram is typically very outgoing and decided. But be aware that there are strong forces operating just below the surface for you. They may be quiet but are capable of creating great changes in your life. You are shifting into a more introspective mode. It’s time to review last year and let go of your mistakes. Embrace 2012 and look at what it is you want to accomplish, not only on the material level but what inner changes do you want to see? You are able to seek and find a new level of spiritual knowledge and experience. Especially between February 4th and February 20th you can have a very mystical incident. You seek the Divine in readings from psychics, learning to read cards or taking a class in meditation. Reduce stress and find inner peace, that’s your mantra. Venus is here as well in the beginning of the month. On February 8th Venus comes out to play and joins Uranus in your first house. There can be changes in your love life as well as in your friendships. The New Moon of February 21st can illuminate some sort of inner truth, and that energy feels very exciting to me. And with Venus and Uranus together you can win in Vegas or when you buy a lottery ticket. What a great way to begin the New Year.

Taurus

Taurus is still focused on their career. Big changes are brewing. Taurus is a fixed sign and likes staying put, but right now you would be happy with a few changes. The Sun and Mercury both begin the year sitting in your tenth house of work and you are busy and just a little irritated. With Mercury so active, expect many meetings and phone calls. Make sure your phone bill is paid up because you may be talking on it most of the month. But on the 15th Mercury moves along into Pisces and the Sun joins them on the 20th. The second half of February, you spend more time with friends. It’s time to call old friends and see if you can reconnect. There is a New Moon on the 21st that is also in Pisces so it looks like you are super busy. Don’t be afraid to find groups of people that have a similar interest and hook up. On February 4th Neptune moves into Pisces and will stay there for the next 14 years. That’s a loooong time. Your friends will tend to be more spiritual than practical. But be careful because it could be that some of your friends reveal secret addictions and/or mental problems. You want to help but do not always know how. Venus spends most of the month in Aries. If you are single then you are hungry for love. Not just any love mind you, but a soul mate kind of love. You become attracted to someone completely inappropriate. It’s not a time for reality and can this relationship work long-term. No, it’s time to look at someone and hear the angles sing. It’s fun but keep your feet on the ground.

Gemini

Gemini is still dealing with some left over family situation. Last month saw you and family members disagreeing on just about everything. There is still some left over energy to be dealt with the second half of February. This month Neptune will make a shift and move into Pisces for the next fourteen years. I love the energy of Neptune but I’d be the first person to say it is not always clear. Confusion abounds. Should I stay or retire? Should I start my own company? Is this the right person for the job? Nothing seems simple. On the other hand follow your hunches because you will have some very strong psychic energies operating here, especially in any work situation. Instead of relying on that famed Gemini quick mind, turn within and see how you feel about it, instead of what you think about it. A big change, I know. The first week of February is quite blessed with Venus still here until February 8th. After that it moves into Aries and your eleventh house. By the end of February you are looking at your friends and seeing just what it is that you see in them. A friendship may be tested. You need the people in your life to be responsible and reliable and not everyone will be able to meet this challenge. It’s all part of the new you.

Cancer

Cancer is looking at their financial future right now. You begin 2012 deciding what you feel you can spend and what you decide you want to earn. Lovely but nebulous Neptune is leaving your money sector on February 4th and you feel much more hopeful and in control about money issues. Uranus is still sitting at the top of your chart encouraging you to allow changes and a new career into your life. Very exciting and just a little scary. Heck, maybe a lot scary. But graceful Venus glides in to help on February 8th and don’t be surprised if you get a surprise check in the mail or some other extra unlooked for income. From February 7th to 9th you have some great professional aspects happening and this is the time I would choose to ask for what you want or to implement changes you have been thinking about. It’s time to start something new. If you don’t then I can guarantee you will find yourself frustrated and bored at the job. Find something that interests you and go for it. When first Mercury changes signs on the 15th and then the Sun changes as well on the 20th you are either traveling or getting ready to travel. Some of this may be related to business but I don’t rule out pleasure. Even if it is work related I think you will somehow look upon it as pleasure.

Leo

Leo is still in the mist of partnership and romantic hookups. You began 2012 looking at who you wanted to be with long term. Now you are acting on those decisions. How’s it going? The Sun will lend its energy here until the 20th of February. Mercury will be here until the 15th. Although Neptune begins February in Aquarius it changes signs almost immediately on the 4th and will stay in Pisces for the next fourteen years. The eighth house is one of power, sex and money. All issues most of us are very interested in. With Neptune here you will see some changes in how you deal with all of these areas. Leo is a physical sign and sexual activity can be about the body feeling good. But with Neptune moving in to stay, you are changing and looking for more than just passion. You want passion combined with the highest expression of who you are. No small thing. With Neptune having been in Aquarius for the last fourteen years you may have been making some poor decisions in terms of your love life. This is going to change. You are able to see your spouse, marriage or business partner in a much more clear light and are able to assess the situation with both feet on the ground. The first week of February is best for romance as your libido seems very frisky!

Virgo

Health issues are still front and center for Virgo. You are making some big changes in your body but I think they will only help you get stronger and get better for 2012. Neptune makes its transition into Pisces on February 4th. Practical Virgo throws common sense out the window and hungers for romance and poetry. If you are married be sure to give your spouse a heads up that you expect BIG romance for Valentine’s Day. You want the grand gesture. Very unVirgo like. But with Venus beginning the month here and Neptune making a new home here, things are changing. If you are single then here is the warning – be careful about who you become romantically involved with. You fall in love with a smile and forget to ask some important questions. Like do they live in the US? Are they already involved? Is someone out on bail? You want a soul mate that will speak to your soul but I don’t want you getting tangled up in a problematic situation with someone that doesn’t appreciate you. Go for love, but take it slow. The Sun and Mercury are also here the second half of February and you spend big. You buy a special gift for the object of your affection and on the New Moon of February 21st you plan a special evening of soft music and quiet intimacy..

Libra

Libra gets a chance to play this month. Saturn has been in your sign for the last couple of years and you have had some heavy responsibilities. But now you get to enjoy life for a bit. (“And about time too” I can hear you thinking.) February begins with Mercury, Neptune and the Sun all in Aquarius, your house of fun and games. You are feeling more light-hearted than you have in a long time. If you are single then this can be a really great time. You go out to some clubs and discover you still have it. With Neptune leaving Aquarius on February 4th you will have much better insight into the right romantic partner for you. But this is a playful and lovely energy. So flirt with someone new, go out with friends, say Yes to invitations or invite people over. It’s time to get out of the house and reconnect. Although Venus gives you some nice help at the workplace, it only lasts until the 8th. After that Venus moves into Aries and you start to feel very loving and romantic. Libra loves pretty things and Venus urges you to buy them. It’s not that it’s a bad combination but it can be an expensive one. You want new clothes and new toys and you are not in the mood to say No to yourself. And if by any chance you are on some kind of New Years Diet then I will warn you that this does not bode well for your sense of discipline. Be gentle with yourself and keep going.

Scorpio

Scorpio is in a beautiful energy right now with Venus snuggled up so close to your Sun. You are charming and cordial and you get to spend extra time with your friends. Everyone wins. In terms of love, it seems you are surrounded by it. If you are married then you go all out on Valentine’s Day. If you are single then boy do you luck out. You just stare at the object of your affection and they come running. Those Scorpio eyes get them every time. But sweet Scorpio is still somewhat stressed at home. What is going on? I will say that some situation that seemed confusing or unstable changes on February 4th when Neptune changes signs. Mercury will still be here until the 15th and the Sun until the 20th. The demands at home are still there and Scorpio is trying mightily to handle everything. It’s okay to ask for help you know. If you need to take care of any handy work around the house then this is the month to do it. There could be a few discussions with the contractor but you win so go ahead. The second half of February looks much more enjoyable. You are able to move away from the family stuff and remember to take care of you. There could even be an out of town trip to take your mind off things. The first week is the best with Venus still here and lending support.

Sagittarius

The sign of the Archer is on the go this February. With three planets in your third house of travel you could spend the entire month in the car. You have some impulsive energies operating here so if you are in the market to buy a new car, by all means take a friend with you that will be the voice of reason. By the second half of February some of these planets have moved on and you once again have your feet on the ground. I would also make sure that you take your foot off the gas petal! This is a time you are more at risk for a traffic ticket so take some reasonable precautions. Lucky Sag will get a nice boost of energy from lovely Venus after the first week of February. With Venus and Uranus joining up, you are ready to be adventurous in love. It’s time to get out and meet new people. If you are single then what a great time to enjoy a new social life. If you are already in an established relationship then you find ways to bring some new and exciting energy into the union. The one thing you do not want is to be bored. And the first week of February Venus and Mars are on opposite sides of your chart. This creates a super sexual vibe. Be careful to not lead with passion. Make sure the two of you are really compatible if you want something long-term.

Capricorn

What a nice bit of astrological help Capricorn gets this month. You begin February with Neptune, Mercury and the Sun visiting your house of money earned. You could see a nice boost in income. This is a great energy for investing and making any changes to your financial portfolio. Check out your 401K and see if you want to move some money around. On February 4th Neptune will change signs and move into Pisces. The sign of the Goat is finally able to get a handle on some long-term financial confusion. You can think clearly and make well thought out decisions. On February 15th Mercury leaves and is followed on the 20th by the Sun. And are you thinking of moving? With Venus coming so close to Uranus in your house of real estate you could find the perfect property or living situation. It just falls into your lap. Even if you are staying put you spend time making your home more beautiful. Capricorn enjoys being settled but now you want to move furniture around and even bring new people into your home. Jupiter is still nicely situated and bringing you in some great friends and good times. With Mars also in an earth sign it’s time for a vacation that energizes you for the year.

Aquarius

Neptune is leaving Aquarius this month on February 3rd and moving into Pisces. Without the watery influence of Neptune Aquarius begins to see things more clearly. You are able to make better decisions and decide what it is you want to do. There is a Full Moon on February 7th and with the help of Mercury you will be able to think things through and let go of anyone that is not serving your highest good. Mercury stays next to your Sun until the 15th. Watch out for this one because your phone goes sky high as you seem to be talking almost non-stop. If you have to give a speech or teach a class them Mercury is your best friend. Likewise for any kind of new classes or homework assignments. After the 15th Mercury changes signs and spends the rest of February in Pisces. The Sun joins it on the 20th and these two together have you spending more money than usual. Venus is in Pisces the first week of February so almost the entire month it looks like you either have an extra bill coming in or an impulsive purchase happening. Watch your money! Use this financial whirlwind to get a handle on your budget for 2012. Get your tax information together and organize your receipts. By the New Moon of the 21st you will be glad you did.

Pisces

Pisces gets a nice boost when Neptune finally leaves Aquarius and moves into your own sweet sign for the next fourteen years. Yes, your ruling planet is in your sign and believe me, this doesn’t happen very often. Neptune is a soft planet and this will be a quiet energy but you are going to begin to feel more connected to other worldly energies. Your spiritual life is very important to you and now you have astrological help. You begin a new course of study or find yourself going deeper into meditation. Focusing on the here and now could be a bit more of a problem. As Venus moves into your second house you are in the mood to indulge yourself with some nice extras. This could be lunch with a friend or some new clothes. I don’t think you break the bank but you may be spending more money than usual. When Mercury opposes Mars on the 23rd there could be some forceful words between you and your sweetie. You benefit from the Full Moon on February 7th that will blend nicely with Uranus in your second house. You make some work changes that bring in extra money. Things at the office are a little unstable but you are able to roll with the punches and see light at the end of the tunnel.

FULL MOON on February 7th 2012, 18° LEO With the Full Moon in Leo we are looking at a great day for a party, I don’t care if it is a regular Tuesday. Leo loves people so call up some friends and plan a nice evening out. Leo is a fire sign and as such is usually full of warmth and generosity. Not only might you be getting out of the house but you might be spending extra money on new clothes or a fancy dinner. Leo only wants the best. And let’s face it – the best usually costs. This is a Moon that loves to shine so don’t shy away from the spotlight. Show off your newest artistic creation or even the finger painting of your child prodigy. Bask in the glow of your achievements. Just make sure that you do not cross the line from proud to prideful. You may notice other people bragging a bit more under the influence of Leo. Your boss is convinced they know everything and it may be hard to get a word in edgewise. If your ego is more pronounced, remember so is everyone else’s. So instead of trying to make people see your point of view, kick back and take this day to enjoy life a bit more. Aquarius might want to slow down some. This Moon is a little challenging for you and the sign of the Water Bearer could be a little annoyed. But by February 9th all is well. .

NEW MOON February 21st 2012, 2° PISCES I just love Pisces Moons. But then I’m a professional astrologer and intuitive and that’s about as Pisces as it gets. If you are an accountant involved in tax preparation you may be having a more difficult time with this Moon. Pisces is all about the unseen world. It is just about the most perfect time to meditate possible. But leave the tax stuff alone. Your mind is on higher energies these days and doesn’t want to concentrate. You find yourself misplacing your car keys and forgetting a lunch date. The details of life are not dealt with well under this watery Moon. Pisces has a strong healing element to it so if you work with Reiki or other healing modalities then this Moon can bring forward a lovely healing energy. Don’t be surprised if you find some kind of discussion about health care going on. It can be personal or in the evening news but medicine, drugs and mental well-being all come under the spell of the Fishes. Try not to make irreversible decisions now. Pisces can get very confused and you don’t want to buy a car only to find it’s a lemon, or accidently commit yourself to hosting the PTA or coaching little league when you don’t really want to. Pisces hates to hurt anyone’s feelings. And speaking of feelings yours are going to be very strong today. You cry at an old movie or get wistful over old photographs. But it is kind-hearted and loving and who can’t use a bit more love?
